India was well known as a cradle of ancient knowledge. The scholars from India had been revered in far off countires from the early historical periods. Even now the experts from India serve different missions in different countries. But the education in India is being subotaged. The secondary schooling has become topsy turvy. In the guise of modernisation, exams are avoided and syllabi are made simple. At the same time global standards are maintained at public schools and international schools where the children hailing from well to do families study.
